The published version of this table must accurately separate local processing from information sent off the device.</p><h4>3. Permissions and protection setup</h4><p>GuardionX asks for an iOS permission or system configuration only when it is needed for a feature you choose to use. It does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription or erase records held on a server. To cancel a subscription, use <strong>iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions</strong>. To request deletion of information we hold, email [privacy email] with “GuardionX data request” in the subject line. We may ask for limited information to verify the request and will explain if a legal obligation requires us to retain a particular record. Your choices and rights</h4><p>You can decline optional permissions, turn off a protection configuration, manage any available analytics or notification settings, and contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Withdrawing a permission needed to provide a feature will disable that feature.</p><p>Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your information, including a right to object to certain uses, request a portable copy, or lodge a complaint with a privacy authority. The provider identified above is referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our.” By using GuardionX, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.</p><p><strong>Before publication:</strong> Text in square brackets needs confirmation against the released app, App Store Connect subscription products, and the publisher’s legal details. Remove this note and the release checks at the end before publishing.</p><h4>1. What GuardionX offers</h4><p>GuardionX helps users set up and understand available device and network protection features. It may show configuration status, educational guidance, and information about security-related settings. Remove features that do not exist.]</p><p>Features can depend on your iOS version, device, network, location, subscription status, and the system permissions or configurations you choose to enable. An explanation, illustration, onboarding animation, or sample result is not a live inspection of your device. Where GuardionX reports a real check, the app should identify what was checked and the scope of the result.</p><p>GuardionX does not promise to detect every threat, remove malware, prevent every data leak, or make a device completely secure. In particular, the iOS app should not be understood to inspect an Apple ID session, iCloud content, device passcode, other apps, or the operating-system kernel unless a specific feature actually and lawfully provides that access. Who can use it</h4><p>You must be permitted to use the App Store and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms under the laws that apply to you. If you are under the age of majority, you may use GuardionX only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian where that consent is required. GuardionX is not designed for children under [confirm minimum age and App Store age rating].</p><p>You are responsible for your device, Apple Account, network access, and any use of GuardionX through them. You must comply with applicable laws and the terms of your wireless carrier, internet provider, Apple, and any third-party service you choose to use with GuardionX.</p><h4>3. Permissions and configuration</h4><p>A protection feature works only when the relevant iOS permission or configuration is granted and remains active. GuardionX will explain the permission it requests in the app. You can change permissions and configurations in iOS Settings. Turning one off may disable the associated feature without ending an active paid subscription.</p><p>You should keep iOS and GuardionX updated, review settings that affect your protection, and use other sensible security practices. GuardionX is a tool to assist with specific functions; it is not a replacement for iOS security updates, account controls, or professional incident response.</p><h4>4. Subscriptions and payments</h4><p>Some GuardionX features may be available through an auto-renewing subscription purchased with Apple In-App Purchase. The purchase screen, which is shown before you confirm a transaction, will identify the subscription name, the features included, the billing period, the full price in your local currency, and any introductory offer. <strong>Those displayed offer details control your particular purchase.</strong> [Confirm the actual products, durations, prices, and feature entitlements configured in App Store Connect and shown on every paywall.]</p><p>If you start a free or discounted trial, the purchase screen will show its length and the price and billing period that follow. Unless you cancel, an eligible subscription renews automatically at the then-applicable price shown through Apple, subject to Apple’s price-change and consent processes. Apple charges the payment method associated with your Apple Account. We do not collect your full payment-card details.</p><p>You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription at any time in <strong>iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → GuardionX</strong>, or through Apple’s subscription-management interface. If you do not want a free or discounted trial to renew, Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Cancellation normally prevents the next renewal; access to paid features generally continues until the current paid period expires, subject to Apple’s handling of refunds, billing problems, and applicable law. <strong>Deleting GuardionX or turning off a protection setting does not cancel a subscription.</strong></p><p>If you have already purchased a subscription, use <strong>Restore Purchases</strong> in the app [confirm the actual button and location] while signed in to the relevant Apple Account. Eligibility for introductory offers, subscription changes, Family Sharing, and refunds is determined by Apple’s rules and the configuration of the particular product. Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation rights that apply under local law.</p><h4>5. Acceptable use</h4><p>You may use GuardionX for your personal or internal lawful purposes. You agree not to use the Service to interfere with networks or other users, probe or attack systems without authorization, evade restrictions in violation of applicable law, misuse subscription access, or compromise the integrity of the app or Service. You may not copy, redistribute, or modify GuardionX except as allowed by law or the applicable app license.</p><p>If we reasonably believe you are materially violating these Terms or using the Service to harm others, we may take proportionate steps to protect the Service, including limiting access after notice where practicable. We will not remove paid access arbitrarily, and your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.</p><h4>6. You receive only the rights needed to use it under these Terms and the applicable app license; no ownership is transferred to you.</p><p>Unless the provider supplies a separate custom license agreement through App Store Connect, <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/">Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement</a> governs the license for the downloaded iOS app. These Terms supplement that license by explaining the GuardionX Service and subscriptions. Nothing in these Terms changes Apple’s Usage Rules or any rights that cannot be limited under applicable law. Apple is not responsible for GuardionX support, its contents, or claims about the Service; direct those matters to the provider identified above.</p><h4>9. Updates and service changes</h4><p>We may release fixes, security updates, and feature improvements. We may also discontinue a feature if required for security, legal, or technical reasons. If a material change affects a feature included in a paid subscription, we will give notice where practicable and handle the remaining paid period and any available remedy according to applicable law and Apple’s purchase rules. We will not retroactively change the price you accepted for a completed billing period.</p><h4>10. Ending use</h4><p>You may stop using GuardionX and delete the app at any time. If you have a subscription, cancel it separately through Apple to prevent future renewal. We may stop providing the Service or suspend access for a material breach of these Terms, unlawful use, or a serious security issue, subject to applicable consumer-protection law. Sections that by their nature need to continue—including payment obligations already incurred, ownership, disclaimers subject to law, and dispute provisions—remain in effect after use ends.</p><h4>11. Responsibility and limitations</h4><p>We aim to provide GuardionX with reasonable care and skill. Network conditions, operating-system limits, changes to third-party services, and newly emerging threats can affect its results. No security or filtering tool offers perfect detection, uninterrupted operation, or complete protection.</p><p>To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by factors outside our reasonable control or by using the Service contrary to these Terms and in-app instructions. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or any obligation to provide the paid Service as described.
